I'm not much of a collector but recently there's a few rare ones that I have found in my spare change and decided to try and keep hold of them. In the hope that someday might be worth abit of extra money.

10baht coins look incredibly similar to 2euro coins...I found this out by chance in Spain last year. Flew direct from BKK for a wedding, had a big pocket full of coins that had built up after a few days moving around the city on the Skytrain. They soon became mixed with my Euro coins and after a day on the beers, completely forgetting that I had baht mixed in, I realised that my pocket was empty. Felt quite bad about it, but was amazed neither me nor the bar workers noticed the 10baht coins being handed over.

My dad did this. I'm now in the process of selling off all his old football programmes, cigarette cards, newspapers, cricket scorecards, boxing programmes and other sporting and social memorabilia.
On the one hand, it's making me a shedload of cash and it's been quite interesting finding out some of the things that my dad and his brother went to.
On the other hand it's gutting that I can't talk to him about all the stuff I've found.

I'll help you with one - the Olympic 50p for the Triathlon.
Can be sold for £12 or more on ebay.
Each of the others in the Olympic collection is also worth more than it's face value.

I did, not now. Collected some old British coins and some examples of Roman / Jewish / Biblical ones - they are worth a fair chunk and a piece of real history.
